Meteorite Seymchan (IIE Octaedrite). Ni-poor iron (kamacite) bands with darker and thinner taenite bands and areas with perthitic exsolution of kamacite and taenite. The meteorite shows deformation structures as a result of a preterrestrial event. Near Seymchan, Magadan, Siberia, Russia. Specimen size 6.5 x 4.0 cm. Collection and foto Thomas Witzke.
Meteorit Seymchan (IIE Oktaedrit). Ni-armes Eisen (Kamacit) in breiten Bändern und Taenit in dünneren, dunkleren Bändern sowie Bereiche mit perthitischen Entmischungen von Kamacit und Taenit.
